Pasturing calves and heifers on high forage, low grain diets while using low cost simple fencing. Dealing with the summer
pasture slump, and facing the challenges of transitioning a farm to a young farmer owner. Baird is a Master with the
Dairy Grazing Apprenticeship and the programs growth in the region will be introduced to participants.
